Privacy Policy

This website (www.plateontechnology.com) is operated by Plateon Technology Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (Company Registration Number 17075581), 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“we”). We are the controller for the processing described here.

The short version

This website sets no cookies, uses no advertising or cross-site tracking, and collects no personal data beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the site, count visits in aggregate, and answer messages you choose to send us. That is also why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When you visit, your browser transmits data that is technically required to deliver the pages - including your IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser and operating system information. Vercel processes this on our behalf to serve the site reliably and securely (legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website, Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Server logs are retained only briefly.

Web analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics service. It stores no cookies and no identifiers on your device and cannot follow you across websites. Visits are counted using a short-lived hash that cannot be linked back to you and is discarded within 24 hours; we only ever see aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers, countries and device types (legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to respond (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR where your message relates to an enquiry or contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in handling correspondence). We keep correspondence no longer than needed.

International transfers

Our hosting and analytics provider processes data in the United States. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, write to hello@plateontechnology.com.

No profiling

We make no automated decisions about you and build no profiles.

Changes

We may update this notice as the website evolves; the current version is always available on this page.
